Well, I hate to admit it, but I have to. We fell off the planet. Just for a week or two, but it’s been wild around here. And I don’t really see it getting much better, but we’ll try to keep the wheels on our wagon through the next couple months of transition.

See, we (the fam) are moving to California. My partner is finally graduating after 8 years of post-grad here in Michigan, and we are moving on both in location and life. I started Slanted knowing this was inevitable, and thus will be continuing running this awesome operation in Pacific Standard Time. Which geeks me to no end. I’m fortunate to be doing something I love and to be able to do it wherever I am. By June, we’ll be Californians!

And because I like to party, Slanted has some other fun things in the works that are going on behind the scenes. A new website is coming, along with a revamp of the newsletter, online courses, and something called The Profane Marketer. It’s all very, very exciting, but admittedly is taking my time away from keeping this blog and our social media updated. Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon.

So please be patient with us as we work through some of this really fun stuff, and some not so fun stuff (like packing up everything and moving across the country). And thanks to many of you who have made all this craziness possible!
