#MondayFunday—Try Again Tomorrow

Hi!

So after the longest, most eventful (in good ways and bad) Spring Break of my entire life, Monday morning hit me like a sledgehammer.  And while the day did eventually get better, I’ve been feeling a little sledgehammered all day. I was productive. I got a lot of school work done. I got an A on my Conducting midterm. But there’s been this longing to get back in my bed since I left it this morning. Ever have one of those days? Where you catch yourself thinking “Why did I ever leave my bed?”

There are lots of temporary fixes:

  • Exercise
  • Fresh air
  • Caffeine
  • Power nap
  • Dance party
  • Netflix binge watch

But sometimes, the only solution is to just go about your day doing the best you can and try again tomorrow. So if your Monday was rough, congratulations! You survived. You made it! And it’s all down hill from here. Here’s to trying again tomorrow and having a much better week! (If your Monday was great, you also deserve congratulations! And I hope you have an excellent week as well.)
